Natural stone for wire necklace

Cat's eye is the original name of a greenish-yellow variety of chrysoberyl with a specific light effect of a glare running across the surface. It was first described in 1798. This optical phenomenon reminds the observer of a cat's eye. The natural mineral is very rare and is mined in Madagascar. Nowadays high-temperature quartz glass is more commonly called Cat's Eye.
